Default Can Somebody Make It Simple??? Iphone 3GS Updating ((6.15.00))
Hey guys, I spent some time searching on how to update my phone and I couldn't find any tutorials or some instructions on how to do it. Hopefully someone here can help me out.

Phone: Iphone 3GS, 4.3.3, 6.15.00 baseband, Running under Simple Mobile.

If you can post at least a simple guide on how i can update my phone to iOS 5, i'll be very greatful!
I Just Can't make the phone accept any firmware! lol.
    Thanks.

you need to be more specific on why you cant update or restore, we can help you better if you tell us what errors you are getting or what steps you are using to update or restore

    follow guide:
[How-To] Using tiny umbrella to update/downgrade/restore

THEN.....if you have any questions regarding the steps in that tutorial, you can ask and we will gladly help

Thanks for the reply 6thDAY!! I've read the guide and it was really helpful. So i sat down today trying to make things work. I ended up getting "Error 11"" during restore.

    Steps I Followed:
    1- Downloaded Iphone 3GS 5.0.1 Firmware.
2- Saved my phone's SHSH to my desktop. (Tiny Umbrella)
3- Ran TSS Server. (Tiny Umbrella)
4- Launched Itunes, Restore, located the firmware ... Unkown error 11!!
    5- Stop TSS Server.
    6- Exit Recovery.

I'll do some research about that, meanwhile if any of you can help, i'll be greatful! Thanks.

For 5.X firmware running the TSS server doesnt work anymore. You need to use iFaith or redsnow and stitch your 5.0.1 SHSH into a custom firmware. Then you enter pwned DFU and restore to that stitched firmware in itunes.
