So I read the "How to using TU" guide as well as several others. What I'm trying to do is restore my iPhone 4 (GMS) to either 5.0.1 (9A405) or the newest version (I can go either way). I'm currently on 4.1 with limera1n with BB 02.10.04. I honestly don't know what upgrading the BB will do, but even if I can't go back to 4.x jailbreaks that's ok.

I've gotten various unknown errors, ranging from 11, 1600, and 1602. It looks like it happens right before the actual restore. I tried using my netbook and that resulted in error 2005.

What I did:
Saved SHSH, downloaded the 5.0.1 firmware, check AND uncheck "Set hosts to cydia on exit," run in DFU mode, even deleted the last lines in the host file, open TU, start TSS server, open itunes, shift+click restore and that's where it goes to hell.

After getting the error I just hold power and home for 10 secs and my iphone goes back to normal so nothing detrimental has happened yet. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
