Jailbreaking iPhone 4S - Warranty void?
Hey guys i've been always wondering this question about the iPhone 4S, because i want to jailbreak it, but i'm not sure about how the warranty is affected.
If i jailbreak my iPhone 4S on 5.0.1 with absinthe, will my warranty be void? If so, can i not just restore my phone to an original firmware of 5.0.1 to maintain my warranty? Apple shouldn't be able to tell the difference, correct?
Please reply as soon as possible, i'd like to get this dilemma solved once and for all.
Thanks again guys, really appreciate it!

If you restore the jailbreak then yes it'll be still under warranty.

To be fair, your ok... Jail breaking (as far as the states is concerned) IS legal, Apple attempted to put a stop to it, however it was said to be outside the realms & so therefore this is reviewed & renewed every 3yrs... So come August next year... It could be illegal
but for now, it's legal.
