apparently I forgot how to package a deb properly

whats up all? I haven't been on here in a while and now that I've got my new iphone 4s I want to start contributing to the community again and uploading my works to cydia. this morning I decided to upload a little sound theme based on dragonball Z and its already got 510 views...the problem is when I download it the sounds don't work even though the one I SSH'd to my iphone works....which can only mean those 510 people just wasted their time.

I THINK I JUST FIXED IT THOUGH. I updated it....but how long will that take to update? I need to see if I did it correctly this time lol. is this control file correct?

*bump. kinda important. its got 1300 downloads which aren't working i'm sure. I would appareciate some assistance

If you submit it to ModMyi you don't need to make a deb file. You just have to put the files in a zip folder.

It's not the way you packaged the deb, it's the way you packaged the .theme folder. You have a few extra folders before UISounds that shouldn't be there.

The only folders you should have are /Library/Themes/DBZUISoundz.theme/UISounds, but you have /Library/Themes/DBZUISoundz.theme/Library/Themes/DBZUISoundz/UISounds for some reason.

ahhh thank u. it seems that it duplicated it because of the deb file cuz in the zip itself its correct
