Help!!! I deleted something!!!!!!!!
I recentely jailbroke my ipad 2 ios 5.0.1. And so i was happy, but there were some glitches so i tried to delete cydia but i accidentely over-worked my ipad and it just froze and like 10 minutes later it just shut down. So i was worried and so i turned my ipad back on and restored my ipad to when i just jailbroke it. But when i did that the cydia app was misisng. Instead of asking for help i tried to delete all the cydia apps (like winterboard, barrel, etc.) by deleted Cydia itself. I downloaded iPad File explorer and went to /var/stash/ and deleted cydia. after that i noticed the cydia apps still worked but cydia it self was gone. So i tried to just download the Jailbreak or repair it but GreenPoison just said like "ERROR - Stash detected". i didnt know what stash was (i thought it was file made in the jailbreaking process. Since it said Stash Detected, i decided to delete the whole stash folder cus im an idiot. i restarted my ipad and it is stuck on the Apple logo (when you start it up). Its been like that for 2 days strait and now its finally shut down because of low battery. But the ipad just wont go to the homescreen, just stuck on the logo. I NEED HELP.
iTunes doesnt even recognize my ipad when i plug it. even the ipad file explorer doesnt recognize my ipad..... so yeah.
so now im stuck on the apple logo screen and i dont know what to do. HELP ME PLEASEEE!!!! if you know what to do comment or aim me at kcharl1eLast edited by ipadmang; 01-29-2012 at 05:10 PM.

Set your iPad into recovery mode and do a clean restore.

Right, typically recovery mode will allow iTunes to recognize the device. While the device is on, hold home and power until the screen goes black. At that time release the power button and keep holding home. Hold home until you get the iTunes+USB screen, or until iTunes recognizes the device and notifies you it is in recovery mode.

Most likely yes, if you didn't create a backup prior to this. Try extracting the data with SSH but I'd imagine that's be hard to do if the device isn't recognizable in the boot loop. It definitely won't work in recovery mode.
