What are you trying to create a custom fw for? Or are you trying to create a signed firmware for future use with 5.0.1 SHSHs?

basically i want to create one that I can use it in the future ,
--if i have to downgrade back to 5.0.1(if we upgrade in the future)
actually what do u think what is the best way to preserve ur baseband/ssh for future. and to restore 3gs 5.0.1 with bb 6.15

So you're wanting a signed firmware then. I highly doubt your baseband is going to change any time soon. Custom firmwares don't allow downgrading in the future once Apple stops signing. You're going to want to save your SHSHs for 5.0.1 with TinyUmbrella if you haven't done so already. That's the important thing. You can go creating a custom firmware anytime you want to in the future. Using it can only work if you've got 5.0.1 SHSHs. Go and download from
"TinyUmbrella" for you operating system. Run it, click "Save SHSHs" with your device plugged in. Then it should show up that you have 5.0.1 SHSHs saved.
If you still want to create a custom firmware for 5.0.1 now, you can do so with Redsn0w. Just download the latest version (dev team's blog) and click "Extras" and then click "Custom ipsw." You'll also want to download a stock 5.0.1 ipsw (check the Downloads section here on MMi) bc you'll need that to create the custom fw.
