hey im trying to upgrade my jailbroken iphone 3gs on 4.2.1 with bb 06.15 i have the latest itunes and latest redsnow and have already built a custom firmware, but when opening itunes to restore the custom firmware it won't let me and yes i am holding the mac options button whilst clicking restore, but it keeps trying to update and restore the itunes way plz help
sorry trying to upgrade to 5.0.1

Are you throwing the phone into Pwned DFU?
Maybe your option button is broken?

got the latest itunes before doing the process last night option button works fine and yes it it going to pwned dfu mode
