my phone is jailbroken fine i have cydia and everything but when i try and download anything from cydia is says the requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies that cannot be automatically found or fixed anyone else getting this?
Did you go to the changes tab in Cydia and install any necessary upgrades? If not, go into the changes tab and hit the "refresh" button in the top left corner. Then when it's done, and there are essential upgrades, select to do the complete upgrade. If a popup does not prompt for this, and you see there are available upgrades, in the top right corner of the screen select to upgrade all.
If you have done all of the above, and still no good, try seeing in the manage tab under sources if you have all the basic sources installed.
I've had that problem before when I had the 3GS. I had to find out what dependencies I needed (by googling the tweaks I installed). Then I would find each of those dependencies in cydia and download them, some I had to find via the Internet as a deb file & manually install.
