    Default Iphone 4 ios 4.3.2 to 5.0.1

    Hey guys i have factory unlocked iphone 4. Running 4.3.2 and i want to update to 5.0.1 so just need a brief info of the steps required to do...

    Plug into iTunes and it will ask you to update to 5.0.1 Accept and let iTunes update.

    But the phone was jailbroken and it would give error..so wil i require tu for tht???

    try putting the iphone4 into DFU mode, then connect to itunes. it will ask if you would like to restore to 5.0.1.

    Is there any kind of guide or proper steps to go ahead..once i saw a guide with full description

    most guides are for non factory unlocked phones which require preserving bandband's, hactivating....etc. but since you phone is factory unlocked, you have no risk by updating to ios5.0.1. just google "how to DFU".

    btw, what is the error on itunes when you try to update ?
