3GS Jailbroken and Unlocked on iOS 5.0.1/T-Mobile has bad Bluetooth Quality

Hi all, I have a jailbroken/unlocked iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.0.1 and I'm on T-Mobile. All of the functions work (except for some battery drainage issues which I can live with), but ever since I did the upgrade from 4.3.5 to 5.0.1, my Plantronics Pro+ Headset started sounding scratchy and poor quality at full volume. I have paired it with my wife's iPhone with 4.3.5 and it sounds fine, but a call to the same number on my upgrade iPhone sounds bad.

Has anyone else noticed a Bluetooth problem with the 3GS iPhone on iOS 5.0.1? I don't see any forum topics on modmyi or any other site...

Any help would be appreciated!

I had 5.0.1 for a bit,.I have blueant q2...no issue here...worked well

Try a restore, ur Bluetooth chip can b faulty too

Easier said than done... I was just hoping there might be a known issue and a fix. Also noticed once I upgraded pressing one of the volume buttons no longer silences an incoming calls ring. Now I can only use the Sleep/Power button to silence the ringer.
