Problems with 5.0.1 untethered JB

I have a iPhone 4 with the new untethered 5.0.1 jailbreak. The problem I have is when downloading something from the app store or watching a video with YouTube; once back to springboard I get these white icons and winterboard appears. What is causing this? Plus when I reboot the phone I get this fuzzy screen. Is the normal?

As far as I know there is no fix for that. It is caused when you respring while having winterboard installed. It should only happen once after every respring tho. I doubt there will be a fix seing as winterboard only gets updated once a millennia.

Yea basically, a respring will get rid of them

I get that fuzzy screen every time I respring ,I don't really think there's a fix for it so I just have to deal with it.

Take out winterboard and use Dreamboard

I also get the same fuzzy screen and sometimes i can see whatever I was doing last like if I was on safari looking at MTV whatever was in that page I see on the fuzzy screen when I respring and I haven't even upgraded to 5.01 I'm on iOS 5 tether I started getting this since I install oAsis hd theme any help we will appreciate it to 4CEFED please forgive me for writing this on ur thread

I would put it into DFU mode and restore and never install the last file that causes the problem.

i need someone's help please! i have a semi-tethered jailbroken iphone4 running on 5.0 and i want to upgrade to 5.0.1. itunes dosent work when i put into DFU mode and try to restore it and upgrade. i would like to know if their is another way to upgrade my phone so i can jailbreak it.

Are you trying preserve baseband while you upgrade? If so you, you need to put it in pwned DFU mode using custom IPSW.
If not just do a regular update, then use redsn0w to jailbreak.

I tried to do a regular update but iTunes fails when trying to restore my phone with the new update. And how could I do it if I use a custom IPSW? Where can I download it so I can use it for redsn0w?
