iOS 5.0.1 "exploit failed" during DFU, redsn0w

Hello

I am trying to jailbreak my white ipod touch 4 running iOS 5.0.1 using redsn0w 0.9.10b3. But whenever I try to put my ipod into DFU mode the jailbreak begins and then tells me "Exploit Failed".

I have tried running the jailbreak with my antivirus disabled, using different USB ports and by manualy choosing my IPSW but nothing seems to work.

How can i jailbreak my device?

Make sure ya going threw the steps right if ya don't hold them long enough it will do that

I'm getting the exact same thing. I am following the procedure correctly to enter DFU mode but the exploit fails every time using both the B3 and the new B4 version of redsn0w

Have you guys set redsnow in xp sp2 compatibility mode if you are using vista or win 7 and if you have quad core, set affinity to one

Actually I just got it jailbroken, I had set it to XP SP3 compatibility and affinity set to "all cores" and it worked.
