jailbroken apps

OK its been a while since I updated my phone I'm still on 3.2.3. I have not done it yet because I have apps that I downloaded after jailbreaking like angry birds that are saved and I don't want to loose my save games. Is there any way around this or am I going to loose all that info once I upgrade?

If you bought the apps sync with iTunes before updating and you wont lose anything

If u do an iTunes sync and backup on the phone u won't lose...however, I never restore from backup after any update or restore especially going from iOS 3-4 or 4-5.....I don't care about losing game position or game data...
