Help, In Recovery Mode Loop

I tried to use RedSnow for once to upgrade my phone while keeping my baseband. I must have messed up somewhere because the phone is in a recovery mode loop and I can't get it out of it. I've tried TinyUmbrella and also RedSnow (just boot) and neither one will get it out of the loop. RedSnow is telling me that I need the stock 5.0.1 firmware. I need to keep my baseband and unlock though. I did have RedSnow store my blob (was already on 5.0.1 with Pwnage) to Cydia. Can anybody help?

What device are we talking about and your Baseband .

iPhone 4. Baseband was 1.5.9 on 5.0.1.

You run latest redsnow and choose custom ipsw to build a NO bb custom ipsw of 5.0.1 on your desktop.
Use redsnow to put iphone into pwned dfu mode.
Don't use tiny umbrella for restore
Run iTunes and restore to NO bb ipsw of 5.0.1
Jailbreak with redsnow after the restore.

I get error 1600 from iTunes.

Your hosts file must not be reference to cydia server. Did you put iphone into pwned dfu mode.

Yes put into DFU mode with RedSnow.
How do I reference Cydia server?

Apple must verify your 5.0.1 restore. Run TU , adv tab Uncheck set hosts file to cydia and close TU

Sorry, first time doing this with RedSnow..
How do I jailbreak afterwards? It didn't add Cydia to the phone after the restore.

Now that you have restored to 5.0.1 and preserved your bb.
Run redsnow , select stock 5.0.1 ipsw , click back ,select jailbreak and choose only install cydia and finished the jailbreak.
Use the latest redsnow for untethered jailbreak.

No difference both preserve bb, one is jailbroken the other isn't .

redsn0w and pwnage tool are softwares made by same team.
Redsn0w used to be a simple jaIlbbreak utility and pwnage tool was used to make just cfw. Few days back a new redsn0w was released Which can be considered as an all in one jb utility. It can make cfw and even fetch shsh now. :-)
