Default Cydia and several other apps won't open

I just installed sbsettings/bossprefs/winterboard, and did the new cydia updates, all went well. Then after reboot, NONE of them will start up including cydia. I am jailbroke untethered and have redone it twice, with no change. Rebooting does nothing. I do not have ssh installed, so I can't "hack" in.

What can I do? I'm trying to avoid a full restore as I have a lot of apps and don't want to reinstall them if I can avoid it. If I could just delete Cydia, then reinstall that might help, but how can I do that? I've been searching and not finding anything useful.

    Any thoughts???

yes, newest version. untethered worked great, I just lost access to the apps. I don't need help anymore, somehow messing with it I got it into a neverending respring loop and ended up just going with a full restore. It sucked, and I don't know what all I lost since when in the loop I couldn't do anything on the phone.

    All better now though, thanks.

Did you upgrade mobile substrate? By any chance did you back up using aptbackup or pckgbackup? I had same issue when I restored cydia packages via xbackup.. It somehow alters the packages for some reason I restored again using redsnow b3 cleared all up
