downgrade help

ok im new to the downgrade scene, i have a iphone 4 gsm model. is there a step by step to downgrade without shsh to a firmware that is unlockable? i found a few but you have to have the shsh files for them.

You need SHSHs for any sort of restore/upgrade/downgrade to any fw that is no longer signed. Right now, only 5.0.1 is signed so any other fw version you're wanting requires SHSHs for your device model.

Edit: also, unlocking deals with modem firmware/baseband which is never downgrade-able (except for 5.8 bl iPhone 3G) so you're not going to be able to unlock anyhow with an upgraded baseband version. Downgrading firmware version does not downgrade baseband version.
