If you are can you please test something and let me know the results?

Please connect using the Hot Spot function in MyWi to another device. While connected please see if your iPhone will allow you to send text messages and/or emails or use your 3G connection on your phone for anything like Facebook.


At first it should work but keep trying this for a few minutes.

Every single time with out failure this will stop working for me. I don't know if it's a jailbreak issue or the new MyWi 5.0. I downloaded MyWi 5.0 the same day I did the new jailbreak.

Would really like some help with this so please test and get back to me.

nevermind, it's obvious after running this route over about 25 times now that it has something to do with MyWi 5 and the jailbreak.

? I like TetherMe. Never had a problem with it before. I used to run into issues with MyWi, and though it sucked to have wasted the money I gave it up. Others like MyWi, but personally I would recommend TetherMe.

I can't receive any messages at all. Then I have to reboot my phone for all that to be restored.

The only things I can think of is to restore and rejb to see if that clears it up, or it's simply an incompatibility with the firmware version. Assuming uninstalling and reinstalling MyWi doesn't work.

There was a Problem with launchctl in the jb. Which affected many apps including mywi. It was apparently fixed in b2 .

Yes, I can receive and send texts, and receive calls. The issue is for me I'm on Verizon, if I pick up a call it disconnects my Internet. But it should not do that on GSM phones. It will on CDMA phones bc of no voice and data simultaneously.

I meant 0.9.10b2 .. Now a b3 is out. And u should rejb using it.

Ok thanks. I saw something in cydia called corona....wasnt sure if that was the fix that was in 9.10b2

Just looked at it again looks like I can just install corona 1.0.3!
