Stuck in safe mode, used redsnow 09.10.b2

Hey guys, none of my themes or tweaks wants to work now that I used redsnow 09.10b2 to overwrite my initial jailbreak with redsnow 09.10b1 for iOS 5.0.1 on my iPhone 4(GSM), I went into activator and it keeps saying I'm in safe mode, respring, but nothing happens after I respring I still get this message, please help

I'm having the exact same issue on my iPad since updating Cydia. I think it's a problem with mobile substrate and Saurik has yet to say anything about it. Winterboard/dreamboard/activator/sbsettings and a gaggle of other tweaks no longer work, including springtomize. I'm thinking about restoring, but I'm going to try and give it a few days. Let me know if you find a fix.

There's an update to mobilestubstrate in Cydia today, but I can't try it out till I get home. Need tetherme on my 4S!!! LOL My iPad is useless without internet.

Affirmative, after updating mobilesubstrate I was able to get all those tweaks working again. Had to do it manually though as Cydia was not cooperating at all.

Yup did the same with 09.10b3 this afternoon and iPhone works great now, themes and all

So, how do I manually update mobilesubstrate? I'm getting an error through Cydia as well. I googled "manual updating mobilesubstrate", but didn't come up with an actual direction. I'll check YouTube too, but wanted to ask here as well.

No you need to rejailbreak with redsnow 09.10b3, have to do that step first then when u go into Cydia it'll show u update for mobile substrate

So, is everything working with the b3 version? I was able to get mobilesubstrate to update through Cydia on the b1 version of redsnow...but I still can't run other apps (i.e. locktopus) without my phone going into safe mode.

All my themes and tweaks now work in beta3, but iBooks still has issues, so in Cydia they have ibooksfix2 and it installs another iBooks app (icon) but as a native application, so no "x" to delete, hopefully that's addressed soon, hope that helps
