HELP...Bought iPhone 4 from apple. Already unlocked. Do I need to preserve baseband.

I bought that iPhone 4 and it's on 4.3. It's unlocked since I bought it straight up from apple. I want to update and jb but I need help. I want to keep the unlock. I was wondering if I Can use redsnow or if I needed to preserve baseband with pwnage since it is unlocked.

If the iPhone is "factory unlocked" as you claimed then you don't need to preserve the baseband when upgrading to iOS 5.0.1. Just do an official restore from iTunes then use latest version of Redsn0w (0.9.10b2) to untethered jailbreak if you like
