    Default Question about upgrading

    I'm fairly new to jailbreaking. I'm running ios5 with the tethered jailbreak. I see am untethered jailbreak was just released. If I upgrade to 5.0.1, will I lose anything? Is there a special process when upgrading?

    and i guess throw in any other info you think I should know.

    EDIT: Ok, so I found the guide on iClarified. Do I HAVE to restore or can I shift update? If I have to restore, will I be ok with my regular itunes backup and a backup from xbackup?
