my dad came back from thailand and he brought me an iPhone 4s, from my research i know it can't be jailbroken yet,(he brought it from the apple shop there) but the phone came pre loaded with around 50 apps and many of them you have to pay for, they signed up to the iCloud with some random email. so the phone has iOS 5.0.1 on there and this morning i tried install a cracked app thru iTunes but it wouldn't let me, gave me the message xyz failed to install. This raises the question is the phone jailbroken, or did the thailand apple shop just give me 300 pounds worth of apps for free which i doubt very highly (plus i can not update them thru the app store) and b) if the phone has cracked apps on it, how is this possible without jail breaking it? any help would be appreciated.
