Possible to downgrade iTouch 4G from IOS 5 w/o blobs?

I was given a used iTouch 4G which has IOS 5.0.1 pre-installed.

Is there ANY possible way to downgrade to 4.3.3 or any other unlockable firmware version?

Why would u want to...and why would u care about unlock?....it's an iPod touch..not a phone...right?..

Just want to jailbreak for the third-party apps, that's all

I'm absolutely astounded that its impossible for me to downgrade the OS.
