hi, just bought this 4g on ios 5.0.1 and modem fw 04.11.08....i went throught so many posts and getting more confused..


can anyone help me how to jail break it and ul it?

Redsn0w 0.9.9b9 needed and step by step guide from here: (might need to select firmware inside redsn0w (in the extra button) to have redsn0w run properly)

Read through first, then proceed. If you mess up, you will have to do a restore! It's tethered jailbreak for now. That means if you reboot, you will have to plug into computer in order to boot it up. Or you can install semitether (might need to search for source from google) from cydia, when you jailbreak successfully. It will help you boot without the need of a computer, BUT wont let you use jailbreak app or safari, they will remain unusable UNTIL you plug your phone to computer and boot tether.

perfect. just jailbreak it..but can't run ultrasn0w to unlock it....actually when i tried to add the source for ultraslow don't even sees that its being installed.
