iPhone 4S 5.0 or 5.0.1 ??

Just a quick question if you don't mind.

I have my iPhone 4S running on 5.0 but I am unsure if I should go up to 5.0.1? I have read on here that any jailbreak that is released would work on 5.0 & 5.0.1 is that true?
As you know we can't save blobs for 5.0 so I was looking for some sound advise whether to stay at 5.0 or move up to 5.0.1 ?

If you experience battery draining at 5.0, then update using OTA, the jailbreak will be at 5.0 and 5.0.1 if it comes out.
