error 3194 when downgrading iphone 4 5.0.1 to 4.3.3
I have a iphone 4g and last night I let itunes install the latest firmware 5.0.1, now I want to downgrade it to 4.3.3 so I can jailbreak it and unlock it to work with my custom cutting tmobile sim card micro.
When the phone is in DFU of course and I go to hold shift and select 4.3.3 to restore I get error unknown 3194.
I tried different host file ip address and deleted the host file all together still same error message.
I read a website guide to specifically downgrade 5.0.1 to 4.3.3 and it says " ios 4.3.3 blobs required"
I dont know if it means that I needed to have 4.3.3 installed already on the phone and saved its shsh blobs, which I dont see how cause I have 5.0.1 installed currently, I did save the blobs for the current 5.0.1.
Ok I did save/backed up the blobs with the current 5.0.1 is this correct i saved it on my desktop, but now what? what are the next steps then i dont get this.
Am I suppose to point itunes to the blob file of 5.0.1 on my desktop? If not then I dont have a 4.3.3 blob file cause I never knew I had to save it before updating to the newest 5.0.1. thanks
No I never saved shsh blobs of 4.3.3 When I bought it used last from a computer customer I wanted to restore to factory defaults via itunes and itunes also installed the new 5.0.1 now I want to simply downgrade to 4.3.3 cause I can jailbreak it and unlock it for tmobile.
Or do you know a way to keep this 5.0.1 and jailbreak it and unlock it?
I thought the iphone 4 was already unlocked from factory I guess not it wont see my cut tmobile card. Thanks
