Is it doable?

Hello All

I have an iphone 4 (AT&T) would to know if I can update from version 4.3.3 (8J2), firmware 04.10.01 to 5.0....or whateve and have an "Untehered" cell?

If so can someone please provide a step by step breakdown on how to do so?

As of now no there isn't a untethered jailbreak out for release yet. On the bright side there is one done for the iPhone 4 but no release date yet.

Really, so very everyone has been using a tethered JB only?

For 5.0 and 5.0.1 yep that is correct

Thanks, ok just did the JB per iClarified but after the JB is done i click on the Cydia icon & it installing I get a "Failed to fetch........etc error in yellow" & a "Some index files........etc in red error"
And I can't donwload winterboard or anything else, DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?

Only did 2 steps based on iClarified

1. updated to 5.0.1
2. Jb using redsn0w 0.9.10b1

it worked (kinda) till click on the cydia icon?
