Cydia and Safari crash on start up . need help immediately

hi guys , i just bought an iphone 4 which is jailbroken on 5.0.1 , but cydia and safari both crush on star up , so i tried ibooty 2.3 without any working result , then i tried the option just boot tethered in redsn0w 0.9.9b8 which shows this message : unrecognized build , what is the solution for this , please those of you who know or experienced this before tell me what to do … thanks .

Try restoring the phone, then rejailbreaking with redsn0w

I tried to restore it with both official and custom firmwares ( cooked by the latest version of sn0wbreeze ) , but somehow this machine manages to find the perfect excuse to throw at your face each time you try something smart , even itunes which i used to download the official firmware with doesn't admit it's own dirty deed , and keeps playing with my mind its dirty games ; could not do this , could not do that , you need this , you need that ; but then i told myself lets stop whining up and think positive , and then i thought : who can make this little black devil - make ( no offense Steve Jobs ) device speak out loud and confess all the misery it had put me through today , yes it must be the person who made it speak in the first place , but Steve Jobs is dead ; let's address alive people who still can make this happen . End of Drama .

Please guys , i considered to take it to therapy , the only therapy that will break it down into little useless pieces , you know that famous one session therapy that works with everyone, the wall of course, but that is not practical . Besides , it would make my misery worse ,and spoil my week-end.

Please guys , help a friend in need .
