if they crash do a restore! it's not that hard. i would love an untether too - I'm going away on January 16, so it'd be lovely to have it by then

Rebooting the phone seems to help apps from crashing but I really don't want to backup ans restore back to the same OS. PKGbackup doesn't seem work for me now and I have no idea wtf is going. So I'll loose half the stuff I had from Cydia just cause I can't remember what all I bought. I do have a 3gs with old bootrom but that tether thing scares me. What happens if you reboot without tether?
Anyways, I just thought by now things would have moved along a lot further than they have.

If u have old bootrom 3GS..u can always have untethered jb!...I'll take it if u don't want it...

Your right xbox.... but I don't have an apple system. If I did, I would use it. itunes scares me as well, i have no idea how to move my phone and backup my stuff in itunes on a different computer. It like it wants to sync with whats on pc, not on phone so it'll erase stuff!? I'm not power user of iTunes.
