Default Upgrade from 4.2.1 to 4.3.3

I'm currently stuck with a phone in recovery mode. All the fixes on the internet that laud how great they work for solving the following issue fall flat on their face.
As per the title, I want to go from 4.2.1 JB w/GreenPois0n to 4.3.3.
    Keep getting the 1013 error.
I've done things with TinyUmbrella to no avail.
I've done things with iREB to no avail (3194 Error).
Modifying the Hosts files on my computer does not fix it.
Using DFU mode does not fix it.

I need clear and concise, step-by-step directions on how to make this happen. If I need to download something I need links; and links that work. I already have the ipsw for 4.3.3.
    Can you tell I'm frustrated?

I do have them stored on TinyUmbrella for 4.3.3 and 4.3.5. Those were the only ones Cydia's servers had.
I thought the SHSH blobs were for keeping your old band for unlocking. I'm not really concerned about unlocking the phone to other networks.
In fact, if I can update the band, all the better.
If 5.01 is the latest one out, who has the jailbreak for 5.01? I know JBM doesn't have it 'yet' and redsn0w has never been very friendly as far as I'm concerned. GreenPois0n doesn't have it either; they only JB 4.2.1 so far.
The main reason I wanted 4.3.3 was so I could have access to Hotspot.
    Any other information you need?

Create a custom firmware of 4.3.3 either by snowbreeze or Pwnage tools
Run TU , start tss server to verify your restore
Put iphone into pwned dfu mode
Run iTunes and restore to cfw 4.3.3

iREB puts the phone in PWNDFU mode, does it not? That didn't work. Or do I specifically need to use Pwnage tools?

Okay. Let me make sure I have this right.
    Get Pwnage Tools.
Use Pwnage Tools to mod the IPSW 4.3.3 file that I have.
Use Pwnage Tools (Or Redsn0w, or iREB) to put the phone into Pwnd DFU mode.
Run TinyUmbrella and start the TSS Server.
Run iTunes, then shift-click on Restore and select my modded IPSW
I should not get a 1013 error or any other error and the phone will be updated to 4.3.3 and be pretty much 'like new'.
Then I can jailbreak with jailbreakme.com, get xBackup back on the phone, download my Backup from Cydia servers, and viola.

    Is this all correct?

Yes, that is correct. If you use redsn0w ( Mac )to build a N0 bb update, then after the restore you can use jailbreakme.com to jailbreak and thereafter unlock it.

If you are restoring to cfw created by PT, you are already jailbroken upon restore.

Okay. I'll give this a try. I will update you in about 3 hours from now when I get off work and have the time to trial this.

No dice. Can't run pwnagetool on Windows and there doesn't seem to be a version that runs on Windows.

I really don't care about my baseband. I just want to get 4.3.3 on here and jailbreak it again. Can I get the Lite version, too? There's been enough faffing about with this already. I'm about to find the most entertaining method of destroying this phone and putting it up on Youtube.

I'm getting an already "pwn'd" 4.3.3 ipsw off BitTorrent. Practically my only option. I'll have to use iREB to enter "Pwn'dDFU" then "Pwn" the TSS Server to "Pwn" iTunes into not being a 100% Twat. If that doesn't work, screw this. I'll just put 5 on and pretend to be happy because, really, all I wanna do is make and receive calls ON MY $500 PHONE!

Custom IPSW worked. Can I restore from Backup or do I have to treat this as a new phone?

Got that far. It's still syncing all my stuff back on from the backup, but the network has been showing "searching".

"Restore Needed". iPhone cannot make or receive calls. Does the world's ..greatest.. phone have short-term memory loss? We just did that!

Still need help here. I restored it once again, it's still doing the same thing with the addition of iTunes stating "there is no SIMcard installed on the iphone you are trying to activate".
Yes, there is a Simcard in the phone. It is for AT&T. I did not opt for sn0wbreeze to activate or unlock my phone.

Someone please get back to me! I need a phone! ><

It was hackivated. I also got itunes error 1 during all this. Turned out it was a faulty USB cable this whole time.
