Best method for Jailbreaking 3G 4.2.1 with Baseband 05.15.04

So, used Cydia and followed this tutorial:

Ultrasn0w 1.2 Unlocks iPhone 3GS, 3G on iOS 4.2.1 [How to Guide] - Covering Web

Noticed that it was Ultrasn0w 1.2.4 now.. and is newer.. will that matter? I have no way to test the unlock since I dont have a SIM for any other carriers yet..

Oh!, so you hactivated your iphone. You may have problem getting signal but can be fixed.

Yeah +1 to iYeow and you might wanna downgrade to 3.1.3 .. 4.2.1 is very slow on 3G .. :-)

somehow got it stuck on the apple logo and it's stuck in a loop.. so I'm going to have to restore it and go through the process anyway..

Should I downgrade to 3 then ?

When you say you are stucked in a boot loop, are you restoring or are you jailbreaking ? 4.1 is fine on your 3g. If you get error 1015 while restoring, it can be kicked out.
