    Default Water Damaged iPhone 4 - Advice please

    Guys.
    Dropped the iphone4 down the toilet (yes im a fool)
    anyway when i got the phone out it was ok then started resetting itself, i couldnt turn it off so i held down the power and home button and it went off...

    Now..i have had the phone drying out in rice for a few days...still no power but becuase i held down power and home is it in some sort of other mode?

    how and what do a press to power it on (if there is still life?)

    U still have a warranty? If u do I have read u can bleach the 2 water Sensors under the back and apple store close to u will take it back not sure if it works but worth a try all they can say is no I would just say it would not come on

    16 months ?, you must have bought it on launch day. Dropping iphone into toilet bowl is really a disaster, maybe you take it apart and dry them separately to see if it helps , otherwise a new iphone purchase is inevitable. Wonder if you could go to apple store and pay $200 for an exchange

    Take the battery out first thing. Then get >90% rubbing alcohol and soak the whole phone in it. I'd recommend taking it apart most of the way first. Take it out of alcohol and let it dry completely. Buy a new battery and reassemble. As long as it hasn't been more than 2-3 days since wet you should be alright.
