Then I suppose is a hardware problem, because I already did that with the mexican and atnt sim card same message. Now how can i go back to the way it was but with a fuctioning wi-fi? since i guess the effort was in vain i knew it would not work mehh...

I see you have a no sim problem ,you are not going to get a functional iphone , maybe as Itouch .

Ok just one question i was reading and i found there are two types of custome firmware restores

ACTIVATED: These custom IPSW files are for users who want to unlock their iPhone after jailbreak which means they are NOT on Official Carrier.
NOT ACTIVATED: These custom IPSW files are for users who are on Official Carrier.
So make your choice wisely.

which one should i use i am going to download another one... how do i know if i download a custome activated or not activated i mean the phone has a sim card of his official carrier...

Unactivated is the one you are having now , stucked at emergency but your iphone cannot see your atnt sim.
Activated is when restored , you are at home screen but you cannot get signal unless Ultrasnow is installed for unlockable bb.

Ipad bb is not stable , you will get drop calls , gps malfunction.

Nope wi fi still greyed out, and keeps rebooting... i dont understand what happend wi fi was working fine :S

I manage to get the wi fi working by putting it on airplane mode then rebooting and it worked... so there is no work around for the unlocking problem?

When you put in your sim, does it recognse the sim ? Go and install Ultasn0w, install SAM and choose deactivate and activate with SAM.

I installed ultrasnow again all this is SAm right no redsnow no nothing right?

i did but it says is in factory activated so im not sure i pushes deativate iphone(clear push) but nothing happends

re-jailbraking would help?

wi fi greyed out again my guess is not a hardware issue since i got it back when i told you maybe is the ipad baseband side effects... that bricked the wifi... hope i can get it back again.. but i defenetly want to unlock i dont understand why it wont get service....
