Default jailbreak on 3gs fw4.3.3 bb5.16.02 gone wrong

I came across a brand new at&t iphone 3gs 8gb fresh in the box and was looking to jailbreak/unlock on bb 6.15 but things just got out of control.

I started by activating like normal through itunes. Afterwards I downloaded redsn0w 9.9b8 (windows) and used it to jailbreak, install cydia, and load the ipad baseband. Apparently after everything said it went through I have a white Cydia icon that won't load and settings still shows 5.16.02 baseband. I tried running redsn0w again and still no luck. I tried various methods including the tethered boot and nothing is changing. Safari loads, Cydia does not. I tried using itunes to restore but I get a 3149 error every time. Customer ipsw, stander ipsw, DFU mode, pwned DFU mode none of them restore. I also can't get my SHSH blobs from tiny unbrella. I tried installing Cydia through jailbreakme and it errors out

There was a problem installing the jailbreak. internal error at [string writeToFile:@"/etc/fstab" atomatically: YES encoding: NSUTF8StringEncoding error:NULL]

Then I tried to use blackra1n to load Icy and blackra1n hangs at "running...". It's been a good 12 hours of me trying to figure this out and I'm beginning to lose hope.

Is there any way to get Cydia to load? Can it be removed and reinstalled? Looking through the web I've found that I can ssh in, but Terminal isn't loaded on this phone (since Cydia won't do anything).

Assuming Cydia can be fixed, can the baseband be switched to 6.15 so I can unlock?

Do you know what firmware was originally installed on this iphone ?
Why don't you restore to the current firmware from apple first.
