Updating iOS from 4.1 jailbroken with limera1n on iPhone 4

As the title suggests, I want to update my iOS version from 4.1 to either 4.3.3 or 5.0 (whichever would be easier to deal with) and preferably keeping my jailbreaking (though I understanding limera1n only works on 4.2.1 and earlier) but if I would need to rejailbreak it that would be fine.

The problem is I've looked at the tinyumbrella thread and am kind of lost on what I would need to do to update my phone. What I'm looking for is directions how how to do this....if possible.

Run tiny umbrella, plug iphone in, adv tab : check > request shsh blob from cydia and click save shsh, look under general tab to see your saved blob if you have any before any 4.xx restore otherwise 5.0.1 is your next restore.

So after running TinyUmbrella (I think I downloaded the wrong one before cause this looks different) I have iPhone 4 4.3.5 (8L1).

So following what I was reading in the tinyumbrella support thread, I downloaded the appropriate firmware and started the restore process but am getting the following message "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. an unknown error has occurred (1)." And the help site that is under the "More Information" button is rather useless.

I do have tinyumbrella running the TSS Server as well
