4S: Safe to update to 5.0.1 now that it has been jailbroken?

Now that a 5.0.1 hack has been released does it mean its safe for us future iPhone 4S jailbreakers to go from 5.0 to 5.0.1 for now until a jailbreak comes out?

If not, and the recommendation is to stay on 5.0, why?

No. Stay on 5.0. The jailbreak will be released for 5.0, not 5.0.1.

Or how about a way to hide the update notification on settings and the 1 badge? It's annoying lol

I just wish we knew a time frame of when the 4S Jailbreak will come... I mean it could be tomorrow or it could be months and months from now well into next year, nobody knows. Making me hold off getting a 4S and maybe go the droid route with an SII to root and custom rom etc. I love my jailbroken 3GS but obviously it's long in the tooth now lol
