Siri is cracked! Where are the apps?

As you all know, porting Siri to the iPhone 4 has been a huge topic and has created a lot of buzz around the internet. Some developers have been successful but nobody wants to release the files because Apple's team of lawyers will certainly crush them like a bug, at least until the 4S jailbreak is released ("which has also been successfully done"). Even more good news is that a French mobile developer called Applidium has figured out the protocol Siri uses and can port Siri to "ANY" device, given that you have a UDID from an iPhone 4S. All this seems great but it is still of no use to us. WTF right?

Is it just me or does it seem like the developer/JB community is just dicking around with us. They ported Siri, but wont give it to us without a 4S JB... Understandable. They Jailbroke the 4S, still havnt come out with a release or any news... Hmm. To top it all off, Applidium has provided many tools(code i dont understand) to use Siri on any device, even Android.

After all of this, where the hell are the apps that the public can use? How much longer must we wait?

I have to say I agree, there seems to be several groups telling us Siri is ported and just how easy it is, but guess what you can't have it! Too many ego's for me, too many trolls getting off on simple people like me asking for help, for me this has been a fascinating learning curve, passing lessons learnt on to other low experienced guys just having a go. I'm very grateful to the guys that have been very helpful in getting as much of Siri running as is currently available right now and enjoy the little descoveries that seem to occur every two or three days.

I read because it needs something from the 4s to make it work on the Apple servers and its going too far for them, they know JB is legal but this may be illegal

Apple was very clever about how they set up Siri. You have to have a 4S hardware ID for it to work. Yes it can be from another device and the number modded into yours but where you going to get that device number? It has to be legit and if you’re using someone else’s I would think there would be an invasion of privacy or theft of information issue.
If you JUST HAVE to have Siri, go buy a 4S on one of Apples networks and quit bad mouthing the DEV’s/modder’s/hackers that work their asses off for us.

Whoa now, I am not badmouthing anyone, I have a huge appreciation for all the free stuff they bring to us. And yes I understand the problem with needing a 4S ID but with a jailbroken 4S, the ID issue will no longer be a problem. I simply want to know why there is such a long delay in the successful jailbreaking of the 4S and the release of it.
