    Default Jail breaking 5.0 question

I am currently on an iPhone 4 with 5.0 installed. I want to do the tethered jb on redsnow, but I am worried that when an untethered jailbreak becomes available I will have to restore to 5.0 because it will be harder to get an untethered on 5.01 etc. either way I feel like 5.0 is
Going to be one of the last untethered jailbreaks for awhile so I'd like to preserve my ability restore
To it before I jailbreak. Any advice?

You can jailbreak it with redsnow 0.9.9b8 to get tethered. Usually untethered is performed over the current jailbreak.

So if I am on 5.0 and did a tethered jailbreak once untethered comes out will I need to restore? I have 5.0 downloaded (I didn't download 5,0.1). Will iTunes allow restore to 5.0? Will I need to or just do the untethered over the tethered? Any insight from the experts would be appreciated!

You won't be able to restore to 5.0, just do untethered over tethered .
