iPhone 4 iOS 5.0 - Jailbroken - Cant Restart Springboard

so i used iwipecache like i normally do when some cydia package icons come up blank (winterboard, ifile, mxtube, etc) so that the icons show up after the phone resprings. after respring, the icons didnt show up so i went into winterboard to turn off the theme. i pressed the respring button and nothing happened. i opened sbsettings and hit the respring button and the phone got stuck on the "Restarting Springboard..."

after i restarted it in a jailbroken state, i tried uninstalling five icon dock so cydia would make me respring, after it uninstalled i hit the restart springboard button and nothing happened. now im stuck without the ability to respring. ios 5 sucks


any ideas on how to fix it?

Man, I don't know what iwipecache would do but it looks like it wiped out some important files. Have you done a hard reset ?

yah, i have to every time i try to respring

IOS 5.xx onwards is scary, cannot restore back if something happens.

i think it may have been my theme. i was able to get the phone into safe mode instead of trying to respring (to disable all winterboard themes) and now i can respring.

this sucks tho because i liked my theme a lot (revi dx for ios5)

anybody have some good themes that dont b0rk the phone?

Blaze HD is one of them, it has been updated for IOS 5.
