I bought a used Iphone 4 with 4.3.3 that already had jailbreak software run on it as it was jailbroken when I got it. The issue is the apps the previous owner downloaded from her iphone account the previous owner installed want to update. I try to update them but it asks for the previous owners password which I obviously do not have. If I log in with my account it will not update her stuff.

If I go to the option on the phone to restore the factory settings will this mess me us as I do not have a copy of the 4.3.3. software before she jailbroke it to restore and if it updates to IOS5 I'm in trouble as I wouldnt have a phone because I'm on Tmobile and I need the current modem firmeware to stay unlocked with my Gevy sim.


How can the update issue and what happens if I use the option on the phone to factory restore?
