Should Gevey Sim Ultra users upgrade to iOS5 before Apple stops signing it?

I am currently on 4.3.5 and we all know there's a 5.0 untether coming soon and I was wondering if I should preserve my baseband and upgrade to 5.0 before the window closes. I know Gevey Sim Ultra works for iOS5 but the way to activate it is quite different. My concern is that will it won't be the same as my current 4.3.5 where when you lose signal with the Gevey Sim Ultra while the phone is on, it researches for signal rather than making you dial 112 or reboot the phone completely. If it's the same I will update because the window is closing soon as 5.01 is out. If there is anyone who's using 5.0 with Gevey Sim Ultra, can you shed some light on this? Thanks.

P.S. If I update and the Gevey Sim Ultra still works the same as 4.3.5, then it will be better since there's a Semi-Tethered Jailbreak rather than just Tethered.

Yup it's too late now. Heard from a couple members they couldn't restore to 5.0 anymore.
