Should we have all updated to 5.0?

Hi all, as I understand it for iOS 4 we can install any firmware version we have a corresponding SHSH stored. iOS 5+ no longer uses this method so there's currently no way to downgrade.

Should we be updating our devices to iOS 5 before apple closes any loopholes.

For example my iPad2 3G is running 4.3.3 if apple released iOS 5.1 which closed loopholes there would be no way of getting to 5.0. If we take a gamble and do without a jailbreak by updating to 5.0 we're safe for a 5.0 JB and we can also downgrade to 4.3.3 if needed.

Well the iPad 2 3G can't be downgraded anyways. Only the wifi only version can
