Need urgent help
My iPhone was jailbroken with redsn0w and had iOS5 on it. Had an update in cydia and downloaded that, after that the phone restarted, tried to boot through redsn0w and thats when things went pear shaped.
I have tried jailbreaking again, it works but, my phone wont activate so i cant do anything, tried to restore from a backup and still nothing, tried to reset the phone through settings, left it over night and all it did was sit on the pineapple logo and spin.
iTunes won't update my phone either...

Once jailbroken , you dont jailbreak again. You tether boot if stucked at apple logo.
You have to restore again to fix your issues

Nope. When I try and restore I get an error with the (1) at the end.
I have tried the tinyumbrella guide up the top of the forum aswell.
Edit: It is currently sitting on the plug into usb/itunes screen

Go download the firmware and shift + restore , you are not using TU to help you restore , are you ?
Make sure your hosts file is not pointing towards cydia server.Last edited by iYeow; 11-10-2011 at 09:30 PM.

You don't use TU when restoring to iOS 5. Let apple verify your restore.

You can't unless you have the blob.

Apparently yes, the amount of times I tried restoring through iTunes and nothing happened.
Then while playing CoD3 and drinking the miracle happened. Alcohol does wonders :P
