upgrading from 4.1 to 5 or 5.01 on iphone4 unlocked by gevey

hey guys i am new to this page..i actually wanted to know whether i will be able to upgrade my iphone4 from ios4.1 to 5...my phone is currently unlocked by gevey sim
my phone details:
version:4.1
firmware:02.10.04
i badly want to upgrade my os...pls help me out...
any one using gevey with ios5 pls respond

There are so much trouble with the unlock the way it is and you want IOS 5 combine on it beside many bugs not being fixed yet. You need to weight out your option. From what I know Grevey sim don't work with custom firmware and IOS 5 is tethered/ semi tethered. Here is the catch if you dont upgrade to IOS 5.0 now and the dev release the jailbreak that work 5.0 but Apple stop sign it, then you cant upgrade to 5.0 but the one apple still sign.

I recommend if you wan the unlock and ios 5 get factory unlock i4s.
