First off I want to thank every one of the developers who made jailbreaking possible for us all and the constant support out of their own kindness and time. And secondly I apologize for my first post being a question, I know most forums hate this. I'm just at lands end with this stuff with no where else to turn.
I was lucky to find an Ipad 2 about 3 weeks ago, with no way to find out who it belongs to. It's pretty much wiped clean. I went straight to Jailbreakme and found that you could Jailbreak the Ipad2 with firmware version 4.3.3. My version is 4.3.1. So far I've searched a vast number of websites that had guides on downgrading and upgrading, and I've tried most of them.
Problem is IOS 5 exists now. Itunes is only giving me the option to restore and update, and wont accept any IPSW files. Can't get sn0wbreeze to make a custom one or anything. I was hoping someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction to update this Ipad to 4.3.3. It is a Wifi only model so I don't think I need any baseband versions or whatever that is.
Any help is greatly appreciated! I have access to all the major Operating systems if I need a specific program or OS. My Ipad once again is 4.3.1.
You can restore to 4.3.3 only if you have the blob saved.
Without blob, only way is to update to 5.0 and wait for a new jailbreak
Custom firmware will not work on ipad2.
Thank you for your quick reply! Oh this all has to do with the SHSH blobs? I thought 4.3.1 was lower than 4.3.3 lol. Well I guess I'll just be patient till' the next one
