Restore 4.2.1 Iphone 4

I unplugged my iphone 4 from the computer while it was moving files with iphone explorer and the connect to itunes screen showed up.. is there an easy fix for this?
I didn't have the net til right now so I tried to restore the phone with itunes by adding the 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com to hosts then getting the error 1013 so i deleted the 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com and all the other apple entries to get rid of that error but just received the error again after it was almost finished the install.. what can I do. I'm stuck in a loop here.. Help plz

Restore to custom firmware of 4.2.1 to avoid error 1013 popping up with the help of 4.2.1 saved blob.
