What method is the best to jailbreak iPhone 3g on 4.2.1 ?

Hi,

I just updated my iPhone 3G to 4.2.1 from 3.1.3 and now I need to jailbreak it. Since there are many ways to do this I was wondering what is the easiest and best way to do this ? I just need to jailbreak it, no need to unlock it and I also have iTunes 10.5 installed on my PC.

u should use greenpois0n or redsn0w 0.9.7rc16

GreenPoison does not work on 3G , Use the redsnow to make a custom fw and restore to it or just use it jailbreak.
