    Default iPhone 3GS iOS 4.2.1 / 06.15.00 Upgrade Path to iOS 5

    I currently have a unlocked/jailbroken iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.2.1 and baseband 06.15.00 (for use on Mobile-1 network) and am interested in upgrading to iOS5.

    If I update to iOS5 and re-jailbreak with RedSn0w, will I have to re-unlock the phone again?

    You have to restore to custom firmware of IOS 5, rejailbreak with redsn0w and unlock with Ultrasn0w.
