Need Help with iphone 3gs hardware issues jb..

currently i have a iphone 3gs 4.2.1 Jb, it has some IOS issues, slow, crashes, apps ruined ect, i want to update it but dont know how to go about it?, im not worried about unlock as i used P&G 02 so fine by me..., i have ssh 4.1, 4.2.1, and i want to re jailbreak after update, can anyone help?

Hi Scott,

I believe your best option would be to shift/restore up to 4.3.3 and re-jb with jailbreakme.com. You can get the 4.3.3. from the web, just search fir 4.3.3.Ipsw.

Does jailbreakme work again. I know they swapped over the owners of the site saurik has it know. Didn't know if it works yet or not.

yes it works fine i did my other iphone on 4.3.3! the jb hasn't been sweeter :P

its saying its not compaitable? when i shift and restore then select 4.3.3 ? im going to re-download the ispw as its an old ispw? maybe thats why O.o.

i dont think so as i was the one who jail broke it also i tried the 4.2.1 restore and it worked.. i canceled i think its the ios we will see im downloading one as we speak so... ?

If it acts up again, you might want to look at jb-ing with redsn0w. It's hard to get a handle on the problem when I can't see your phone etc....,

we will see, i honestly think its the ispw, as the oone i had was 420mb then real one is 440mb? soo it must be that.... ill keep you in the loop, if you want we can msn if you want? that way instant messaging?

ok finally downloaded it and it still wont let me update it says not compatible?
heres what i did, ive now reinstalled 4.2.1 now ive re jailbroken it see how that plays but it still says not compatable? when trying to upgrade to 4.3.3?

if you would like to try again, take your ipsw file from the above site.... should be 100% and i would consider using sn0wbreeze.

Also, ive been thinking that maybe its due to apple not signing 4.3.3 anymore so you may have to alter your host file to point to
cydias servers instead of apples.....
