Question Simple Downgrade from 5 to 4.3.3 on 3GS?

Hey everybody. I've done a lot of searching and I have found lots of conflicting info, or info that is similar but involved an unlock or something that I don't deal with. So here I ask:

I have a 3GS (newer bootrom) currently on 4.3.3, jailbroken with JBM. Obviously, I have SHSH on file with Cydia. Tonight, I would like to upgrade to iOS 5 to try it out. My question is: if I want to go back to 4.3.3 do I simply point my host files toward cydia, and do a shift-restore and send it back to 4.3.3 or is there something special I have to do?

Hopefully this made sense. I'm just looking to do a simple restore, and I don't rely on an unlock or anything special.

    Thanks in advance!

Not so simple as that . I can summarise everything in a sentence.
You have to create a custom firmware, download your shsh blob onto Tiny umbrella , be able to start TSS server , put iphone into pwned dfu mode and restore to custom firmware of 4.3.3

Thanks iYeow. Any good links to point me in the right direction? Everything I find seems to be outdated

Why don't you restore to iOS 5 and see how you like it, tethered jailbreak isn't that bad, untethered should be out soon.
When you are ready to downgrade , we will guide you

Iclarified website is a good website on tutorials
