Strange snoflake boot - Long time AFTER jailbreak

Pwnage tools 4.1.3 .

ok so i downloaded the 4.1.3 of pwnage and it started to create a ipsw file, during the creation, the iphone came on allowing me to make emergency call with a plug into itunes in the background... pwnage tool is still creating the ipsw file and now iphone has gone to black screen, but thats probably because it was idol for a few second. So what should i do once pwnage has created a file? because i have downloaded the 4.1 firmware from this site...

it also says No Sim Card installed on the iphone... but still itunes plug in the background... Pwnage still creating ipsw file....

"instert a valid sim card with no pin lock to activate iphone......."

Ok so I ended up with an ISPW file from the pwnage tools, then loaded it via itunes. Iphone is back to life but now when i install sim card, only one small bar, no network name and cant make calls or anything.... I guess im only half way there.... lol

what is your Baseband ? install Ultrasnow from cydia to unlock.

Did you activate with your sim from emergency screen.

Not that I know of, I got no message indicating that. But it wont even be my SIM that will be installed permanently it wil be my friends, we both have the same carrier though..... Should I try to re-install untrasn0w?

Now it just says NO SERVICE on the top left

Did you hactivate your custom firmware ?

Build another one with no hactivation, let your sim activate it.

Hacktivation is done during the pwnage process right? Also, once activated on one sim card it will not be good with another right? HEre is the way i did it: Used pwnage tool with downloaded 4.1 ipsw, then loaded result ispw with itunes, and thats it.... did i do it right?

Use expert mode and uncheck activate iphone then build, use sim to activate.

So I re created a file with pwnage tool, loaded via itunes and ended back at the emergency call screen, inserting sim card does not help, itunes says invalid sim, im guessing sim is locked... Anyways, what should I do from here... I wish I could remember exactly how i did it last time, lol, but i think it was a different baseband... Anyways, thanks for the continued help.

You know what i am thinking, this is not an ATNT iphone, run redsn0w 0.9.6b6 , browse to stock 4.1 ipsw and jailbreak it from emergency screen.

Is the stock file available on this site? I am guessing it is not the iPhone1,2_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw file?

the download link you gave me is a windows file. could you direct me to the mac version as well as a link for the stock file if possible..

You already have the stock 4.1 ipsw. Once you have booted up, go check your model number and look here where your iphone is from
iPhone 3G/3Gs Model Numbers Country and Carrier - GSM-Forum

After checking and you comfirm this is US iphone, next step is risky , flashing ipad bb again with redsn0w. You have to download ipad 1 3.2.2 ipsw from iclarified firmware search.
Run redsn0w i, set to xp sp2 compatibilty mode so it won't crash.
Uninstall Ultrasn0w if you already installed it and flash your bb by choosing only update ipad bb by running redsn0w again.
Do not interupt while flashing.
If it not US iphone, install Ultrasn0w to see you are getting signal.
Still no signal with Ultrasn0w installed, run redsn0w and choose deactivate
Install SAM .

So i am booted back up now, still only one small bar when sim card in, havent installed ultrasn0w yet...... Should I? Also, as per you link, it is a USA AT&T model. When it was being used recently it was unlocked and being used on Telus
